Trucks used to be a lot smaller. Back in the day when people bought trucks for work and filled the beds with all manner of goods and junk, the typical bed and cab were about half the size of average trucks today. And today, many truck beds never see loads or debris or items that may "dirty" the liner.Cabs were simpler back in the day and somehow, more inviting.
